Erin Hyer, Founder

I'm Erin, and after spending an incredible 35 years in private practice, walking side by side with young children grappling with a wide range of developmental challenges, I'm diving into a new chapter. It's time to bring my passion for early development to a wider audience and make a bigger impact.

At HYER LEARNING, I'm on a mission to join forces with new parents like you. Together, we'll rewrite the story of early childhood development. My journey has taught me that being proactive is everything—let's prevent those developmental challenges before they even happen!

Imagine this - creating a home where every little moment shapes his language, building connection, independence, and an insatiable curiosity. That's the environment where children thrive. In today's world, the challenges are vast, but so are the possibilities.

Our programs focus on engaging parents as partners in their child's development. We're here to guide and support you, equipping you to be the primary agents of change for your little ones, your family, and yourselves.

I'm thrilled to embark on these new adventures with you. I am excited to share my 35 years of learning, practice, and real-life stories with parents who are as motivated as I am. Together, let's light up this path to success for our kids.

Join me, and let's embark on this incredible adventure together!
I received both my undergraduate and master's degrees from California State University, Fullerton. I hold clinical licenses in both California and Vermont (soon Florida); and, am a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
My journey has been one of continual growth and learning, delving deep into various realms such as early child development, neuroplasticity, microbiome, Autism, Auditory Processing Disorders, specific language impairment, early reading development, and the social-behavioral aspects of learning.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of guiding graduate students and clinical fellows in diagnostic techniques and effective intervention strategies. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to share insights with diverse audiences, including parent groups, allied health professionals, and educators. These sessions centered around early childhood development and the nuanced challenges of language-based learning across different age groups.
Now, I'm channeling this wealth of experience and knowledge directly to parents. Through online courses, memberships, and private small-group coaching, I aim to empower families with insights and tools garnered over years of teaching and learning.
